Infatuation For Fashion

Wow, the last six days have been a blur! And I'm sure the next six will be as well.

I started working for my parents again, and that's going great. I also am tutoring some students in pre-calculus in high school. Two jobs in one week! It is wonderful.

Last night, we held a surprise birthday party for my friend Matthew, and it was a HUGE success! We ate, chatted, reminisced, and played DDR all the night long! Plus, I wore the most insane outfit that I've put on since I graduated. I raided my parents' closets, only to find some real treats: an old knit teal sweater that my father used to wear, and some boots (that look like they belong to a pirate) that my mom wore just after high school. I paired those with neon pink tights and black shorts for an all-together 80's vibe.

Yup, it's been pretty busy for me. But, that's life!

So, I decided to buy nail polish yesterday, and the one I got is definitely my new favourite colour. It's a pale, dusty purple colour by Essie called St. Lucia Lilac and I must admit, it reminds me of a pair of Barbie shoes I once had...

Honestly, I am so in love with pastel coloured nails at the moment that I feel like divorcing my neons. Now, anyone who knows me even a little bit, knows that neon anything has been my love for years. But mint green, baby pink, and ice blue are going to be my nails' next treasures if this obsession for pastel-ly goodness keeps up!
