I hardly bought anything though! I got, like, three things. Literally! But, my mom wanted to buy lots of decor for our house, so we couldn't exactly go over our spending limit of $1600.00 (which, FYI, we almost did).
So, what I got was:
- A cute black and white Volcom v-neck sweater from PacSun for $45.00. It is super cool; it starts off at the shoulders with a checkered pattern and that slowly melts into leopard print!
- A cream and sparkly gold striped sweater from Old Navy (on sale!) for $13.50 (originally $30.00, serious deal grab). This one is button up, has a very deep v-neck, and looks SUPER cute with a black or ivory coloured scarf.
- A pair of Emu boots from Journey's for $85.00 (yes, it sounds expensive, but read on). These look, feel, smell, taste (you name it) exactly like Uggs, but for a lot fewer pretty pennies. I got the short ones in black.
- Skull Candy earphones in pink from Target for $16.00. These have the best bass boost I've ever heard!
- Underwear! I love undies. Five pairs of bikini-style underwear from... either Walmart or Target. What can I say, I like my panties cheap.
I also bought a couple of things from Bath & Body Works. If you ever have time to go to one of those, please do! You won't be disappointed.
-I got the Mentha Lip Balm Stick (No Shine Formula) #1600 by C.O. Bigelow for $7.50. It sounds pricey for a lip balm, but it's worth it. It is 10% Shea butter and 2.1% peppermint oil. This lip balm feels cool and tingles on your lips and gives them a nice nude-y pink colour, AND the minty-ness freshens your breath! It's amazing, and I wouldn't say that if I didn't love it. The Bigelow lip products at Bath & Body Works are basically always on a sale of "buy 2, get 1 free", but I just bought the one.
- I also got two travel-sized products (which are always on a sale of "three for $10.00"... my mom took the last one). I got the p.s. I Love You Body Lotion and the Twilight Woods Fragrance Mist. I cannot tell you how much I love the scents of these two products! Although, I must say, I am quite infatuated with the smell of Twilight Woods - not that it has anything to do with vampires and werewolves, of course! ;)
Here is the full description of the scent:
Twilight Woods:
TOP NOTES: Berry, Mandarin, Coconut
MID NOTES: Frangipani, Mimosa, Honeysuckle, Wild Freesia, Apricot Nectar
DRY NOTES: Oud Wood, Musk, Orris, Vanilla Milk, Warm Woods
Honestly, I wish I could eat it!

Skull candy is perfect <3
ReplyDeleteAnd we go over the limit all the time. You just have to pay extra for duty, no big deal. You get such a good deal in the States on stuff anyways.
Oh, I know. I have no problem going over the limit... my parents on the other hand, have issues with it.
ReplyDeleteWhich makes no sense because "duty" is basically just the "other tax" that we have to pay on everything here anyways!
Exactly! And when it comes to furniture, we have no limit. We just go for it. It's not like we have an Ikea nearby.
