Is it just me, or does the whole Earth seem a slight bit melancholy over the end of the 2010 Olympic winter games?
I, personally, am more than melancholy. I would have to say that there is a limited-time damper on my life at the moment.
I have never been more taken with the Olympics in my whole life as I was these past two eventful weeks: I danced for some of our medals, screamed for others, and cried tears of joy for most. I sang CTV's official Vancouver 2010 Olympic song 'I Believe' every single day with as much gusto as a mass choir. I spent every spare moment watching the events; holding my breath at times, feeling nauseous at others (and I wasn't even competing)! And I grinned, yelped, cheered, whooped, and pranced around like a small, giddy child when Sidney Crosby scored the goal that made history for our country and for the world.
I would say that that is Vancouver 2010 obsessed, wouldn't you? ;)
Phew! Now that I got that off my chest, wanna see my new haircut? I knew you would.
